Wouldn't it be great to unleash the spirit of 2012 again? I'm going for my Personal Best in a deep sea diving suit...
I'm joining Britain's Personal Best, a national campaign funded by the Big Lottery to keep to keep the spirit of 2012 alive, by walking up the Gherkin in a 1940s deep sea diving suit that weighs 140lbs! (64kg) The Gherkin stands at 180m (591 feet) and in order to get to the 38th floor observation deck, I will have to take 1,037 steps, carrying a cumulative weight of 73 tons! (66 metric tons). I'm doing this to push myself to achieve the very best that I can do, and to raise funds for my favourite charity – The British Heart Foundation.
